Maxene Magalona is a Filipino actress who is currently under ABS-CBN and also a former member of GMA 7 talent. She is best known for playing Alex Acosta the main antagonist on Doble Kara. She also portrayed Vivian Salvador in the My Lover, My Wife on Daddy Di Do Du.
Maxene was born in Sta, Elena in the Phillippines. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University on March 2010 with a Social Sciences bachelor’s degree but she didn’t attend the graduation ceremonies due to personal reasons.

Magalona did her first sho while she was a child under ABS-CBN kiddie show Ang TV which was followed by 5 and Up. After that, she transferred to GMA Network in 2001 where she made her first appearance in Daddy Di Do Du. She was offered a role as Alwina in Mulawin but she couldn’t play the part since she was still in college at that time.
Her biggest break came when was chosen to be among Richard Gutierrez’s leading ladies. Her major lead was Angel Locsin on GMA first primetime drama series. From there she continued to play different roles in GMA which had earned her Prominence in the acting industry. From 2014 she returned to ABS- CBN where she signed an exclusive contract. She currently plays the role of Juliet in the 2019 upcoming drama series Pahiram ng Isang Umaga which is based on the 1989 film of the same name.

Maxene Magalona And Rob Mananquil Pay Tribute To The Late Francis M.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Maxene Magalona and husband Rob Mananquil paid tribute to the late rapper Francis M. with an acoustic rendition of “Kaleidoscope World.”
In her post, Maxene said, “Thank you for promoting love and peace through your music. We love you, pop. Happy 10th year in heaven.”
A few days earlier on March 6, the date of Francis M.’s death anniversary, Maxene wrote, “It’s been 10 years and yet it still feels like it was just yesterday when we lost you. I admit I still miss you everyday and wish you were still here with us. But I am at peace knowing that you’re happily watching over us from heaven—far from all the pain and suffering.”

MANILA, Philippines – Maxene Magalona and husband, model and musician Rob Mananquil paid tribute to the late singer Francis Magalona on Sunday, March 10, posting an acoustic version of the song “Kaleidoscope World.”
Francis, known for songs such as “Kabataan Para Sa Kinabukasan,” “Kaleidoscope World,” and “Mga Kababayan Ko” died on March 6, 2009 after a battle with leukemia.
In an Instagram, Maxene wrote: “Thank you for promoting love and peace through your music. We love you, pop. Happy 10th year in heaven.”
She also said that donations can be made to the Francis Magalona Foundation, which focuses on education.
Rob also posted the same video saying: “Never have I felt the most nervous yet most inspired to perform a song by the Philippines’ most iconic rapper. Thank you for your words of wisdom, sir. ”
Last March 6, Francis’ wife Pia Magalona recalled the journey they went through.
“Our family will forever be grateful to family, friends, co-artists, companies and the Filipino people who supported us both financially and in spirit throughout the journey we called his Happy Battle, and even afterward. Through his recordings, his legacy lives on. Now, more than ever, say a prayer and listen to Francis M. Peace.” –
