Political journalist Lisa Desjardins appeared with an eye patch in September 2020 making people wonder if she had any disease or illness. It was, however, due to an injury, that also created quite a buzz.
Desjardins opened about her eye patch saying she is perfectly fine and quipped. She humorously added that no one in Congress is responsible for the patch on her eye. Lisa later explained that it was because of her clumsiness.
The injury to her eye was after she got distracted and accidentally pulled a car door on her face. Twitter has positive responses and well-wishes for the political reporter. With the responses, the Twitter users were also wondering if she needs eye surgery.
During the broadcast on September 30, Lisa revealed she was doing fine and had no plans for the surgery anytime soon. However, at the time, she did not reveal for how long she had to wear the patch.
